We have distributed more than 100,000 Eracism bumper stickers.
We have held more than 650 facilitated discussion meetings about racial issues. We continue to have meetings
twice a week.
We have been invited into the community to address groups, schools, and churches and tell them about Eracism and how they can get involved.
Here are some of the places we have addressed:
The Tulane School of Social Work, Texaco's Diversity Team, The U.S. Army's Corps of Engineers, Delgado Community College, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, The YWCA, First United Baptist Church, All-America City Award Committee, St. Mary's Academy, Cherbonnier School, Council for International Visitors, City of New Orleans Human Relations Commission (Day of Healing), Community Unitarian Universalist Church
We have received national as well as local media attention that has generated hundreds of phone calls from around the country, resulting in our Eracism message spreading nation-wide. To see a listing of our media coverage and read articles, click here.

We are often contacted by other people around the country who have read about us, heard about us, or seen our bumper stickers and want to promote Eracism in their communities.
Just a few are:
-Sioux City, Iowa (Dick Hayes)
-Greeley, CO (Joyce Lakey)
-Fort Collins, CO (Donald M. Sundland)
Our hard-working facilitator committee which normally meets once a month has developed guidelines for facilitating ERACE discussion meetings and criteria for becoming facilitators. We are told by virtually everyone who reads the guidelines that they are unique and invaluable in enabling discussions about racial issues to take place among people of different colors within an atmosphere of respect and trust. We have sent out hundreds, perhaps thousands, of copies of our guidelines to people around the city and world. To download the guidelines, click here.
